Our society has come to a place where it depends completely on electricity. Energy is used for just about everything from running our phones to heating our dwellings. Back before we had electricity, the light we got was created fire burning lamps and our heat came from a wood furnace. If you put paraffin wax inside a storage tank, the wax remains a solid while it is cold, but the moment it is heated, it becomes a liquid which will keep its heat for a long period. Even when it cools down and gets hard, the wax still has the ability to maintain heat. If you would like to use something cheap and still keep heat for long stretches is Eutectic Salts. One more effective way to save solar powered energy is by using Molten Salts, which will be used to make steam. This takes place as the salt mixture is heated during the time the storage tank is heated. The energy that is produced may be stored in rechargeable batteries which can be used for later. The most common type of battery used for this sort of storage is a lead acid battery.
There are a number of ways to keep natural energy, but so far they aren't as practical or efficient as they need to be. There'll be an infinite supply of natural heat, when methods of storage are improved upon.
